Pricing & Margin Guidelines

This document outlines the pricing and margin standards for all bookings made through The JLT Group. These guidelines are designed to ensure fair pricing for clients and sustainable business practices for our agents.

Key Principles

Fair Value: Pricing should reflect the value of the services provided.
Transparency: All pricing must be clear and transparent to the client.
Sustainability: Margins must be sufficient to support your business and The JLT Group's operations.

Minimum Margin Standards

To prevent detrimental pricing, the following minimum margins apply:
Standard Bookings: A minimum margin of 5% of the total booking value.
Complex Bookings: (e.g., multi-stop itineraries, bespoke tours) A minimum margin of 7%.
High-Value Bookings: (over £10,000) A minimum margin of 3%.
Exceptions to these minimums may be granted on a case-by-case basis with prior written approval from The JLT Group.

Net Rate Bookings

Client Travel: Selling travel to clients at the net rate is strictly prohibited.
Personal Bookings: You may book your own personal travel at the net rate, provided you are a named traveller on the booking.

Price Amendments

Once a booking has been processed in our system, the price cannot be amended without a valid reason (e.g., supplier change, client request).
Any price amendments must be supported by an updated invoice and clear communication to the client.

Compliance

Adherence to these guidelines is mandatory. The JLT Group reserves the right to audit bookings to ensure compliance. Repeated violations may result in disciplinary action.
