Training Requirements

Continuous learning and development are essential for success as a travel agent. The JLT Group provides a comprehensive training program through the JLT Academy to ensure all our agents are knowledgeable and compliant.

Mandatory Training

All new agents must complete the following mandatory training modules before they are authorised to make bookings:
1.Induction Program: An overview of The JLT Group, our systems, and our procedures.
2.Package Travel Regulations 2018: In-depth training on your legal obligations under UK travel law.
3.ATOL & Financial Protection: Understanding how your clients are financially protected.
4.PTS Trust Compliance: Detailed training on handling client funds.
5.Booking System Training: How to use our booking platforms effectively.
6.Supplier Training: Key information about our preferred suppliers.

Ongoing Training

To maintain your membership and stay up-to-date with industry changes, you are required to:
•Attend regular update webinars hosted by The JLT Group.
•Complete any new mandatory training modules as they are released.
•Stay informed of changes to supplier terms and conditions.

Certification

•You will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the mandatory training program.
•The JLT Group reserves the right to require recertification on key topics as needed.
Compliance with these training requirements is a condition of your membership. Failure to complete mandatory training may result in the suspension of your booking privileges.
